This route begins at Praça do Peixe, passing by the Chapel of São Gonçalinho and the Botirões and Carcavelos bridges. The tour takes in the typical Beira-Mar neighbourhood, the Carmo Church and the train station, continuing on to Fonte Nova and the iconic Ponte dos Laços da Amizade bridge.
The route also includes the Aveiro Forum, Praça da República, the Cathedral and the Santa Joana Museum, passing through Infante D. Pedro Park and the University of Aveiro. The tour ends with a visit to the Alboi neighbourhood, the salt flats (Rua do Sal), Rossio and back to Praça do Peixe.
