The walking tour begins at Praça da República, followed by a visit to the Carmelite Church or Church of Mercy, religious and emblematic landmarks of the city.
The route continues through areas where some of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings are located, allowing you to appreciate the architectural details that make Aveiro a national reference in this style. The visit continues to Praça do Peixe, a traditional space linked to the commercial and maritime life of the city.
Next, the tour passes by the Chapel of São Gonçalinho, a symbol of popular devotion in Aveiro, known for its unique traditions.
